Audrey Laventure started as an Assistant Professor at the Université de Montréal in 2020. Since 2021, she holds the Canada Research Chair in Functional Polymer Materials. Her research group works at the intersection of additive manufacturing and advanced characterization to establish structure-processing-property relationships to enable the rational design of the next generation of functional materials.
In the context of the GreEN, her team contributes to the establishment of these relationships for 3D printed (semi)conducting polymers, more specifically working with direct-ink writing. Audrey Laventure is also an Executive Member of the CIC Macromolecular Science and Engineering Division and was selected as a member of the first Canada Chief Science Advisor’s Youth Council.
