Fabio Cicoira (PhD in Materials Science and Engineering) is an Associate Professor at Polytechnique Montréal (Department of Chemical Engineering and Institute of Biomedical Engineering) with a broad expertise in organic electronics and micro/nano fabrication. He is known for his studies on flexible and stretchable electronics, patterning and growth of organic semiconductors and metal oxides, organic electrochemical transistors and carbon nanotube electrodes for organic transistors. He has published 69 papers in prestigious international journals. His work has been cited more than 2300 times and his H-index is 27. He has been invited over 40 times to talk at international conferences and he has given over 20 seminars in universities and national laboratories. From 2007 to 2010 he has been recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship from the European Union. His group is currently composed of 2, postdoctoral fellows (PDFs) 6 PhD and 3 MSc students. In the past five years, he has supervised 4 PhD students (among which two FRQNT Scholars and one NSERC Vanier Scholars) and 2 MSc students and several PDFs.
