Gregory C. Welch is an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair at the University of Calgary where he leads a research team developing new organic and organometallic materials for use in energy conversion, storage, and efficiency. The program combines materials design, green synthesis, physical and morphological characterization, and small/large area device fabrication. Professor Welch has published nearly 100 scientific papers and has 7 issued patents.
