M. Jean-Philippe Jacques holds a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from UQTR and a Master degree in Energy and Material Science from INRS. By working for several years in the family-owned business in recycling sector of paper and cardboard, he acquired a solid expertise in business development and strategic partnerships.
In April 2013, he joined Innofibre as researcher. His research and development work was on biorefining, mainly thermochemical conversion of biomass. His expertise combined with his leadership led to his appointment as Innofibre General Manager in January 2018.
M. Jacques leads the research carried out by a qualified team, promoting collaborative projects. He believes teamwork as the key for success in accelerating technological development and scientific innovation!
