Ricardo Izquierdo

Ricardo Izquierdo’s research focuses on the use of organic semiconductor and nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes, quantum dots, etc) and their processing using printed electronic techniques for the fabrication of solar cells, organic electroluminescent diodes and organic photo detectors as well as for their integration with microfluidic devices in lab-on-chip platforms serving as biosensors. In addition to being the author of numerous scientific publications, Prof. Izquierdo participated in the creation of two institutional research centers, one on nanomaterials and energy (NanoQAM), which he codirected from its creation in 2007 until 2010 and then the research center on Codesign and Fabrication of Microsystems (CoFaMic), where he was the director from its creation in 2010 to 2017
