Serge Beaupré

Serge Beaupré
was awarded a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Université Laval in 2004, under the guidance of Prof. Mario Leclerc. The same year, he accepted a position of research associate and project manager at the Laboratory of electroactive and photoactive polymers at Université Laval. Dr. Beaupré's research interests include the synthesis and characterization of conjugated polymers for organic electronics, especially for plastic solar cells and organic field effect-transistors.

As a member of CERMA and CQMF/QCAM, Dr. Beaupré provides strong research support to undergraduates and graduates students. He is the author or co-author of more than 60 publications (5 reviews, 2 book chapters and 2 patents) in organic electronics which have already received more than 8400 (h-index 34).

Serge Beaupré has strong research projects management skills. He managed several research projects funded by Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) (2008-2013) and by NSERC-Photovoltaic Innovation Network (2010-2015) involving academia, industrial partners and Prof. Leclerc research team.
